Your home’s gas line can provide important functions to both your heating and plumbing systems. When your gas line breaks down, it can affect other major functions and amenities within your home. That’s why it’s so important to take notice when your gas line shows signs that it needs to be repaired. Those signs to keep an eye out for include:
You can typically only notice “bubbling” in your yard when there is standing water in your yard and that water is bubbling. If you notice this in your yard, you likely have a gas leak and should contact a professional to schedule a repair.
If you have a patch in your yard where grass and plants are dying, but not anywhere else, it may be because of a gas leak. A natural gas leak causes grass and plants to die because the leaking gas takes the place of the oxygen they need to live.
A distinct sulfur smell, or a smell of rotten eggs, is the most telltale sign of a gas leak. Anytime you notice this distinct smell, you should call the professionals at Air Services Heat and AC to have them come out to your home and conduct a repair.
In the event you are having difficulty using your gas-powered appliances as well as difficulty heating your home, it is likely due to an issue with your gas line.
If your energy consumption habits remain unchanged and yet your gas bills are increasing every month, then you may have an issue with your gas line that should be addressed by a professional. Even a minor gas leak can lead to a substantial increase in your gas bill.

We recently had a new shower put in (Aug 23) and this morning noticed the closet adjacent to the bathroom was flooding. Thinking it was a busted pipe due to freezing, called Air Service. They were great about fitting me in to find out what was going on. Joshua Wilson came out and was able to find the cause of our problem. He was very professional and more than helpful. He found the source of my problem which ended up being a faulty valve. He spoke with contractor to explain what was going on. Joshua was able to turn off the water and get pictures and video for contractor. Thanks Joshua!! The contractor even requested the name of the company so he could use it for reference to others
